Panasonic is increasing the quantity of models in its entry-level and conventional HD camcorder lines. This has started in 2011. Forlornly, the majority of them trail the deplorable fashion of using sub-HD motion sensors, leaving just the top-end of the midrange HDC-TM90 and SD90. These products however generate respectable videos. The SD90/TM90 will also hold up Panasonic's elective 3D lens, plus all except the TM40/SD40 will fit in Touch Zoom and Touch Shutter. Panasonic turned down to give pricing information. At present Panasonic has a puzzling 7 models in the $200 variety. It will however deliver sub-par video superiority for the reason of the low-resolution antenna.
